6686 Sports reported on November 12 that Kawasaki Frontale officially announced that team goalkeeper Zheng Chenglong will leave the team at the end of this season due to the expiration of his contract.

The 40-year-old Zheng Chenglong has helped Kawasaki Frontale win 4 Japanese Professional League championships, 2 Emperor's Cup championships, 1 Japanese League Cup championship and 2 Japanese Super Cup championships. He is an absolute contribution to the team.

However, Zheng Chenglong's current physical condition is not ideal. He has only played 3 times in the Japanese Professional League this season, averaging 1.7 saves per game. In his career, Zheng Chenglong has played 272 Japanese professional league games on behalf of Kawasaki Frontale.
